'Show Your Patriatism' Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampers with an Attitude Blog Hop! We are going to show you some Patriotic Art with an Attitude, so here we go on a 'red, white and blue' journey.

Welcome to Becky's Studio.

If you have come from LaJeania Hicks' - blog, you are on the right track. Doesn't she do beautiful work?

Patriotism is a big part of our life and we are thankful everyday for our country and our freedoms.

God Bless America!

Patriotic art work is great any month of the year - but especially perfect in July, the month of our countries birthday!

I love the flag from our new Patriotic stamp set (it is still available - while supplies lasts until July 31) so I knew I had to use it! And what better for stars than our gorgeous silver glitter paper, and lots of red, white and blue! The Tommy paper pack was used for the banners, and the little stars have our wonderful Prizma Glitter on them to make them stand out.

The next blogger on this hop is another amazing artist Jaime Llewellyn

I hope you enjoy the rest of your journey through our patriotism!

Monthly Card Clubs

After a month off from my Card Clubs - it was great to see everyone! A few ladies were not able to make it - but - we had fun none the less, and we missed them all terribly!

The cards were a little time intensive this month (hey!!! I did give them a month off :~})!!! But they were fun and they all turned out lovely. And they learned a new technique too!

Here is a picture of the cards we made. They were all very simple cards to make with lots of coloring.
One of the ladies mentioned that we were like a group of kids - 'hand us color crayon and we stop talking' - so funny, but we did seem to get very quiet while doing our coloring. But that's what made it fun too!

The patriotic card is our new stamp set 'Land of the Free' - a portion of the sale of this stamp set goes to the USO - how cool is that. And it's also the card with the new technique!
The stars on the left side of the card were made by inking an embossing folder and running it through the cuttlebug!  Pretty cool isn't it?   Love love love that technique!

I would love to show you how to do this technique the easiest way! You will love it.

Can you see the sparkle of the fireworks???

Happy Flag Day!!
